Southwest Georgia and 19 counties in the panhandle of Florida.

served by paying individuals for work performed in an "earn
while you learn" training approach. WRC trains individuals
to become employable and assists them in finding jobs within
their communities.
WRC
also assists individuals who have difficulty maintaining employment,
those who are on forms of public assistance such as welfare
and those who are employable and underemployed. This workforce
comprise the next level of workers as current workers
move into higher skilled jobs.
Over
200 individuals work daily in the job readiness, job development
and community work programs. As a result of their earnings,
over five million dollars are spent annually in the communities
in which they live.
With
the support of Wiregrass United Way, WRC provides a transportation
system to make it possible for those within a fifty mile radius
of the Centers in Dothan and Enterprise to participate in the
on-site program.
